title: ⛽ Gas Settings description: Adjust default gas, tip, and transaction settings for buying, selling, and sniping.

This menu allows you to change the default gas, tip, and other settings for buying, selling, and sniping.

What is GWEI?

GWEI is a unit of measurement for gas price in Ethereum. It determines how much you pay for transactions to be processed. Higher GWEI means faster execution, while lower GWEI saves costs but may result in slower transactions.

Gas Settings

For all gas settings, the GWEI value you set is added on top of the block’s base GWEI (e.g., if the base GWEI is 15 and you set Buy GWEI to 5, your total gas price will be 20 GWEI). Increasing GWEI helps prioritize your transactions, making them execute faster and improving their position within the block.

  1. Auto Snipe Tip: Select to set the additional ETH you're willing to pay as a bribe to the block builder to prioritize your snipe over others. This applies only to unlaunched tokens you plan to snipe.

    • Banana Gun Bot uses ETH as a bribe and not GWEI.
    • If your snipe fails, you do not lose your tip amount.
  2. First Bundle Backup Tip: Select to set the Backup Tip used when FoF does not trigger on MEV or Deadblock launches. If Backup is enabled, it will use this tip instead of the Snipe Tip.

  3. Auto-Snipe Spend: Set the ETH amount to spend for sniping.

  4. Auto-Snipe GWEI: Set additional GWEI for approving tokens post-purchase.

  5. Buy GWEI: Set additional GWEI for buy transactions.

  6. Approve GWEI: Set additional GWEI for approving tokens post-purchase.

  7. Sell GWEI: Set additional GWEI for sell transactions.

  8. Anti-Rug GWEI: Set additional GWEI for sell transactions when front-running a rug or tax change.

  9. Sim Gas Limit: Set the max gas limit for simulated transactions to optimize execution and prevent excessive fees.

  10. Buy Limit Order GWEI: Set additional GWEI for buy limit orders.

  11. Mempool GWEI Limit: Set the maximum GWEI threshold for transactions to avoid excessive fees during high network congestion.

title: 🛡️ Safety Settings description: Configure buy/sell tax limits, liquidity thresholds, and slippage protections.

This menu allows you to set buy and sell tax limits, liquidity limits, and slippage to help protect your capital.

Safety Settings Menu

1. Buy Tax Limit

The snipe triggers only if the buy tax is at or below the set limit. If the tax is higher, the snipe remains in “pending mode” until the tax drops.

Example: If the limit is set to 80% and a token launches with a 99% buy tax, the snipe stays in pending mode. Once the developer lowers the buy tax to 75%, Banana Gun executes the snipe in the same block as the tax change.

2. Sell Tax Limit

The snipe triggers only if the sell tax is at or below the set limit. If the tax is higher, the snipe remains in “pending mode” until the tax drops.

Example: If the limit is set to 80% and a token launches with a 99% sell tax, the snipe stays in pending mode. Once the developer lowers the sell tax to 75%, Banana Gun executes the snipe in the same block as the tax change.

Note: Both buy and sell tax limits must be met for Banana Gun to trigger. If either setting is out of range, the transaction will enter "pending mode."

3. Slippage

Allows price movement within a 0–99% range before the trade fails. Consider trade size, market volatility, and liquidity depth when setting slippage.
Set to 100% for unlimited slippage.

4. Min Liquidity Limit

The snipe only triggers if the paired liquidity of the token is equal to or above this limit in USD.

5. Max Liquidity Limit

The snipe only triggers if the paired liquidity of the token is equal to or below this limit in USD.
